Ay Eye

Today didn't quite go as planned.

I could not remember where I left off with AI the last time I worked on Suburban Scavengers. I guess I was kind of close to having it to a usable state. I worked on it for about an hour and a half, fixing little bugs as I created them. I'll have to pass it along for some outside testing, but I think it's in a pretty decent state.

I will likely not worry about adding block in for the AI player. Maybe it will prove to be useful after testing, but I'm not seeing it being worth including today.

I guess I need to figure out what I'm going to work on next. I feel like I should be working on the coding side but my brain feels a little fried which would make it better to work on the art. I'm not really feeling art today though. I'd hoped to spend the day cranking out a bunch of work on the game and I'm really just not feeling it. I just want to relax. Yesterday was quite a stressful day at work.

I think I'm going to go for a drive; get out of the house for a while. Clear my head.

There's so much work that needs to be done on this game. It feels a bit overwhelming at the moment. The thought actually went through my head earlier to just scrap it all. It was very brief but is definitely telling me that I need to step back from it for a little while. Maybe I'll treat myself to a smoothie.

I'll probably look for some people to help with art soon. Take a bit of stress off of me. I'll use the money that I've made off of selling cards to pay for it.

I'm all scrambled.

Until next time.
